Read the record correctly
An approval is
the starting point.
Use the directory to research employers and understand the published data. Check the employer’s own vacancies and review the work permit requirements before taking your next step.

What period does the 2026 LMIA employers list cover?
This directory covers January 1 to March 31, 2026 (Q1), published by ESDC on July 21, 2026. It is not a full-year list. No later 2026 quarter was included in the available catalog when checked on October 5, 2026.
Does an approved LMIA mean an employer is hiring now?
No. These are historical positive LMIA records, not job advertisements. An approved position may have been filled or subsequently cancelled. Confirm current vacancies directly with the employer.
What is the difference between approved LMIAs and approved positions?
Approved LMIAs count positive assessments. Approved positions count the worker positions covered by those assessments. One assessment can cover multiple positions. A position does not establish that a work permit was issued or a worker entered Canada.
Why might an employer be missing?
ESDC excludes personal names, including caregiver employers and business names containing personal names. This list therefore does not include every employer that received a positive LMIA. Employer names are manually entered and can contain spelling inconsistencies.
Can I search by NOC code, province or city?
Yes. Enter a five-digit NOC 2021 code or occupation in the search field, then narrow the results by province, city or postal code, occupation and program stream. Export the matching records as a CSV.
Can CHK help with an LMIA or work permit?
CHK Immigration Services provides employer LMIA and work permit guidance from its Brampton and London, Ontario offices. Book a consultation to review your circumstances. A directory record alone does not establish eligibility.

Public data.
Clear boundaries.
This directory reproduces the public ESDC Positive Labour Market Impact Assessment Employers List for January 1–March 31, 2026, published July 21, 2026. Catalog checked October 5, 2026. Later quarters are not included.
The CSV was retrieved through the CanQuery mirror because the government portal rejected direct downloads. Seven source-note rows were separated from the 8,790 employer records; surrounding whitespace was trimmed. Employer names, business locations and occupation labels retain the source wording.
The list excludes personal names and may include positions later cancelled by an employer. Names may contain entry errors. CHK does not certify current LMIA validity or hiring status.
