Who we see at the London office
London is the largest city in southwestern Ontario and the region’s education and healthcare hub, so the mix of work here is noticeably different from our Brampton office. From Southdale Road we also cover Waterloo Region, the Hamilton and Brant corridor, and the Huron and Bruce lakeshore.
A large share of London enquiries start with study. Western University and Fanshawe College bring in thousands of international students, and the questions follow a predictable arc: getting the study permit approved, staying onside with the conditions, working out whether a programme will actually support a post-graduation work permit, and then converting that work experience into permanent residence through Express Entry or an Ontario nomination.
The second cluster is employer-driven. Southwestern Ontario runs on manufacturing, agriculture, food processing, logistics and healthcare, and those employers regularly need help with labour market impact assessments and work permits. Smaller communities around London also fall inside rural and francophone community pilots, which can be a realistic route where Express Entry scores are out of reach — see RCIP and FCIP.
Beyond London itself, three clusters drive most of the enquiries. Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph bring technology and advanced-manufacturing employers plus a second large student population. Hamilton and Brantford add steel, health care and logistics, and sit close enough for an in-person appointment. Goderich, Kincardine and the Huron-Bruce lakeshore bring agriculture, food processing and energy, where LMIA-supported work permits and the rural and francophone pilots are often the realistic route.

London office FAQ
What are your London office hours, and are you open on Saturday?
The London office is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm, and Saturday 11am to 4pm. Saturday is by appointment only, so book ahead rather than dropping in. We are closed on Sunday. If you are travelling in from Kitchener, Hamilton, Brantford or the Huron shore, tell us when you book and we will hold a longer slot so the trip is worth making.
Do I need to visit the London office in person?
No. Most files run entirely on phone, email and secure document upload, and plenty of our clients never come in. The Southdale Road office exists for people who prefer to meet face to face, or where going through original documents together is simply quicker.
I am studying at Western or Fanshawe. When should I start thinking about PR?
Earlier than most people do. The decisions that shape your permanent residence options are made while you are still studying: the length and level of your programme, whether it supports a post-graduation work permit, the type of work you take afterwards, and your language test timing. By the time the study permit is close to expiry, several doors have usually already closed. See post-graduation work permits.
My study permit application was refused. What now?
Study permit refusals frequently come down to purpose of study, ties to your home country, or funds. The refusal letter rarely explains which one mattered; the officer notes behind it do. We read those first, then advise whether to reapply with the weakness addressed or take a different route. See refusals and remedies.
Are you a consultant or a lawyer, and does it matter?
We are Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants, licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants to represent clients before IRCC. Lawyers are regulated by a law society and can additionally act in Federal Court matters such as judicial review. If your case needs a lawyer, we will tell you rather than take it on.
How do I verify your licence?
Please do verify it. The consultant on your file is listed on the public register maintained by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, and we provide the registration details in writing before you pay anything. In Canada only licensed consultants, lawyers and Quebec notaries may charge for immigration advice.
Do you help employers in southwestern Ontario with LMIAs?
Yes. We advise employers on labour market impact assessment applications, recruitment requirements, wage and advertising rules, and the work permit that follows. See LMIA.
Can you act for me if I live outside London?
Yes. Immigration is a federal matter and provincial nomination is handled provincially, so our office location does not limit who we can represent. We act for clients across Ontario, in other provinces, and overseas. We also have a Brampton office.
