How this compares

The rounds immediately before it, of the same kind. Direction matters more than any single cut-off: a number that has moved three points is noise, one that has moved thirty is a change in policy or in the pool.

What it does not tell you

A round is a fact about the pool, not about your file. It says what the bar was on one day for the people already in the system with a complete profile. It says nothing about whether you are eligible, whether your documents would survive the check, or whether a different programme would reach you sooner. Those are the questions worth answering, and none of them are in the number above.

The number is also a floor, not a forecast. Cut-offs move with the size of the pool and the size of the round, both of which change month to month. The useful exercise is not guessing the next cut-off; it is knowing your own score precisely, and knowing which of the points you are missing you could still earn.
