The AAIP runs eight streams for workers and entrepreneurs. Most worker streams use a Worker Expression of Interest (WEOI); the broad Alberta Opportunity Stream carries the majority of invitations, while only the Alberta Express Entry Stream is “enter Entry-aligned for +600 CRS.

AAIP’s broadest worker route — TEER 0–5, for those already working in Alberta on a job offer.
Alberta Express Entry Stream
Enhanced route selecting federal Express Entry candidates (min CRS 300) in priority sectors — +600 CRS.
Tourism & Hospitality Stream
For workers with a continuing job offer from an Alberta tourism/hospitality employer.
Rural Renewal Stream
For candidates with a job offer and a community endorsement in a participating rural community.
Graduate & Foreign-Graduate Entrepreneur
For graduate entrepreneurs starting a business in Alberta.
Rural Entrepreneur & Farm Stream
For entrepreneurs and farm operators establishing or buying an Alberta business/farm.

Widest occupations
The Alberta Opportunity Stream accepts TEER 0–5 — a wider range than most Canadian PNPs.
