On February 18, 2026 Nova Scotia consolidated ten pathways into four clear streams and moved to an Expression-of-Interest model. The province also participates in the Atlantic Immigration Program. Recruitment is strongest in construction and healthcare; hospitality (NAICS 72) has been paused.

Nova Scotia does not publish individual draws. It reports how many candidates it selected from the EOI pool each month: 2,571 selected from January to June 2026, with July onward still to be reported. Selections focus on healthcare, skilled trades and other priority occupations.
