Yukon PNP.

The North, through your employer.

The Yukon Nominee Program is employer-driven: a Yukon employer nominates a worker they can’t fill locally. It suits people who already have (or can secure) a genuine Yukon job offer, with an Express-Entry-aligned option for eligible skilled workers.

Nomination places for 2026. This authority does not publish round-level counts, so there is no progress figure to show.

IRCC allocated Yukon a maximum of 282 nominations for 2026. Yukon publishes its intake calendar but not the number of invitations issued.

What to watch nextIntake #1 ran January 19-30 and intake #2 ran July 6-17, 2026. Invitations from intake #2 were sent August 3-7, the employer information session is August 10 or 12, and full applications are due August 26 by 4:30 pm. Nothing submitted before the July 2026 intake carries over - a fresh EOI is required. Successful applicants sign a Tripartite Agreement, then the nominee has six months to file for permanent residence with IRCC.

No round-level data is published for this program. Two fixed EOI intakes - counts not published.

Program status

Yukon does run a ranked selection, but only twice a year and only through employers. Employers submit an Expression of Interest during one of two intake windows, EOIs are scored against the published 2026 priorities, and the highest-ranking submissions receive a Letter of Invitation to apply. IRCC allocated a maximum of 282 nominations for 2026 and Yukon states it expects significantly more applications than spaces. Priority in 2026 goes to regulated health care professionals, employers in rural Yukon, and candidates who have lived and worked in Yukon for at least a year, are Yukon University graduates, are Francophone or French-speaking, or held a Temporary Measure Letter of Support in 2024 or 2025. The three streams are Critical Impact Worker (TEER 4-5), Skilled Worker (TEER 0-3) and Yukon Express Entry.

YNP FAQ.

Does a YNP nomination guarantee permanent residence?
No. Yukon nominates you, but Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) makes the final permanent-residence decision after its own admissibility, medical and security checks.
How does the YNP connect to Express Entry?
If you're nominated through the Express Entry stream, an Express-Entry-aligned stream, you receive 600 additional CRS points, which effectively guarantees an invitation to apply in a following Express Entry round.
What is the YNP scoring system?
Employer-driven. Employer-driven — a Yukon job offer is required; there is no open points pool.
Can CHK Immigration help if I'm not in Ontario?
Yes. We're a licensed RCIC practice based in Brampton and London, Ontario, and we assist clients applying to provincial programs across Canada, working remotely and by video.
