Prince Edward Island PEI PNP.
The only province with a published 12-month draw calendar.
Prince Edward Island runs the most predictable nominee program in Canada. It is the only province that publishes its draw calendar a year in advance — twelve monthly draws scheduled from January 15 to December 17, 2026 — and it has actually kept the schedule, with draws rising from 26 invitations in January to 195 in July as the year's allocation opened up. On an island this size, a 195-person draw is a demographic event.
The program's quirks reward attention. EOI profiles expire after six months — half the lifespan of most provinces' pools — so passive candidates silently drop out. Draws consistently prioritize people already working in PEI in priority sectors and graduates of the island's three post-secondary institutions: UPEI, Holland College and Collège de l'Île. And the Atlantic Immigration Program runs here as a genuine independent alternative, employer-driven with no provincial fee and no draw to wait for.

Labour Impact candidates need at least 50 self-assessment points, but the deeper rule is cadence: EOI profiles expire after just six months, and draws run monthly on a published schedule.

Monthly draws on a published 2026 calendar; 1,034 invitations across 8 rounds to August 20. EOIs expire after 6 months. Figures change — verify on the official site. Data checked 2026-08-23.
